How to Book
You can book online using the calendar above. If you wish to book for a period that you can't see on the system or need help please call or email us as sometimes we can make special arrangements.
For long lets or if you prefer not to book online you can complete and return our booking form which can be found here. This can be returned by email or post.
Your booking is confirmed when we have recieved this and you have paid the security deposit.
A security deposit is required to secure your booking. This will be returned to you after your stay, less any deductions for breakages etc.
We require a security deposity of £50 for holiday bookings and of the value of one month's rent for long lets.

We must receive full payment for your holiday at least four weeks before your arrival. If the holiday is due to commence less than four weeks from the date of booking, full payment must be made when the holiday is booked.

Weekly bookings run from 2 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Saturday.
Short breaks are from 2 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Monday or from 2 p.m. Monday to 10 a.m. Friday Exceptions:- Holidays commencing on days other than the above are often possible. Please don't hesitate to ask if you would like your holiday to start some other day.
Long lets are usually booked on a monthly basis, however partial periods may be booked. Bookings are from 2 p.m. on the arrival date to 10 a.m. on the departure date.
Arrivals and Departures outside of these times can sometimes be arranged for an extra charge. Late departures will incur an extra charge.
Rows highlighted in green are eligible for free fishing.
The rental charges above are a guide. If your stay spans more than one charging period the rate is calculated to reflect the proportion of each period, from this the monthly rental is derived for the length of your expected stay. Should you decide to leave earlier than you originally planned (at least two weeks notice is required) the rate is recalculated to reflect your actual length of stay and any difference is adjusted via in your returned security deposit should there be any further money outstanding it will be invoiced to you. This flexibility is particularly appreciated by people who are between house moves.
There is an additional charge for more than four persons per property of £20 each (see booking form).
1 underblanket, 1 duvet and 2 pillows are provided free with each bed, there will be a charge for cleaning these if they are dirty after your stay. We provide bed linen, for an extra charge of £15.50 per double bed and £10.50 per single bed.
Each bed set includes 1 sheet, 1 duvet cover, 2 pillow cases, 1 hand towel, 1 bath towel and 1 tea towel.
We welcome pets provided they are well-behaved, however we do charge an additional £10 per animal which covers the additional cleaning (hair etc.) that they create.
Gas Central Heating
The gas-fired central heating system is metered and must be fed with 50p pieces.
Fishing is available in our two lakes. Fishing permits usually cost £4.50 per person per day or you can purchase a Family Fishing Permit which includes 4 people for £39.50. However there are some periods in the year when we offer fishing for residents at no additional charge (see below). You can find out more about fishing at Ashby Farms here.
Rough shooting on our farms (not in the woods around Fisherman's Lodge), is available to residents. After your holiday rough shooting is generally available for an extra charge of £24 per gun per day. You can find out more about shooting at Ashby Farms here.
With the exception of the weeks either side of a public holiday and the period between 14 June to 6 September, Senior Citizens may deduct a 10% discount on holiday bookings (not long lets). In order to apply the discount when booking online please enter the code "SeniorCitizen".
During certain periods guests at Fishermans Lodges may fish at no additional charge. These dates are highlighted in green on the price list.
